First, lay your artwork across the stretcher bar moulding, with the blank side of your canvas against the wood. You should have extra canvas on each of the stretcher bar molding’s four sides. If you don’t, this means your stretcher bar moulding length’s too large.
Next, fold a single edge of your artwork down against the stretcher bart moulding. This should be done so that your folded canvas is hidden behind the frame. Secure this edge of canvas to the stretcher bar sticks using a staplegun.
Next, pull your canvas tight on the opposite side from the one you just folded. Take this opposite side’s edge and proceed to fold it behind your canvas stretcher bar sticks in the same manner. Secure with staples.
Lastly, repeat on your remaining two sides of canvas. When complete, your canvas should be tight against the frame of your stretcher bar molding and fastened to all four sides.
