If you do not see your printer listed below, it does not mean it is not compatible, but because we cannot list every one of the thousands of compatible printer models. Photo paper is inherently designed to give your photography a finish that befits the subject matter. And photographers can easily understand the discrete types of photo paper available to them. To ensure your art achieves maximum impact, start with your selection of photo paper.
With photo paper, high glossy prints have a visible sheen to them. This shiny layer is applied to the high glossy inkjet photo paper before the print is even printed. This means the photo’s color and contrast can truly catch the light.
Glossy papers like Vibrance can be used for nearly any kind of photo print job.
High gloss inkjet photo paper typically offers a level of brilliance and luster not found in other photo papers. Their high gamut and high reflectiveness carry an element of energy to them. And their inherent shine ensures they catch the eye, no matter the viewing angle.
Truly, super glossy photo paper can be used in a variety of cases. If you want your photo print to seemingly come alive, the choice is an easy one. An ultra glossy photo paper is going to yield the best results when compared with satin or matte.
Unfortunately, it’s not quite so simple. Most inkjet printers are designed with some saturation in mind. Standard printers are designed for a wide variety of everyday print jobs, after all.
Super glossy photo paper, on the other hand, has a layer of gloss that sits between it and the ink to be applied. As always, we recommend checking our ICC Profile Page to ensure your printer can handle this unique photo paper.
Glossy photo paper carries a distinct shine to it. Some might call it super glossy photo paper or ultra glossy photo paper. But whatever the designation, the result is a shininess that catches the light when the paper is turned.
In contrast, satin photo paper is semi glossy. Think of this paper type as sitting midway between high gloss photo paper and matte photo paper.
Luster paper and satin photo paper have long been the primary choice for photo printing. This is largely thanks due to their high durability and incredible print quality. Unlike the smoother surface of other resin coated photo paper, luster printer paper has a subtle texture. Our premium photo paper helps hide oily fingerprints and scuff marks. This enables a paper like Breathing Color’s Vibrance Luster photo paper to truly last. It can endure the rigors of a busy print shop without the need for lots of expensive reprints.
